The grandparents’ room

In the houses of the Vilar era, up to four generations lived in the same house. The grandparents were highly respected and treated with great consideration, due to their experience and wisdom. They always had a room on the ground floor, the closest to the chapel and the kitchen, to make it easier for them to move around the house.
